Anyone just catch the sketch on SNL?
I was totally just about to make a post about the same thing.
Bill Hader's Daniel Day-Lewis impression was spot on and the whole sketch was hilarious.
I'm hoping at some point, it'll be on youtube or uploaded or something.

No clips of it on Youtube yet.
P.T Anderson's wife is SNL cast member Maya Rudolph, and P.T's last film starred ex SNL'er Adam Sandler, so it figures the SNL writers would have seen Blood at some point during the strike[or at least been aware of Milkshake]
And notice that Anton actually took the last milkshake in that sketch- foreshadowing or an omen for tonight, perhaps?
I pretty much peed my pants watching that sketch, it made me so happy. The theme song wasn't bad either, haha. At this point it's on Youtube(who knows how long it'll be there...), and the NBC website, but that's only available to people in the States.
For a character with no dialogue, I though Amy was awesome as HW. Is she really that much shorter than Bill? Or did they create some sort of illusion?
I got so excited lol...
idn if it was just the skits that I watched last night, but are maya rudolph and rachel dratch still there? I noticed there was someone new in the cast.
There was indeed a newcomer. Rudolph is still there although this is probably her last year, and Dratch left a few years ago.

that was pretty unfunny. completely.
yeah i kept waiting for like...something to happen beyond the good vocal impression. they had a really, really fantastic idea but as usual for snl they mucked it up. and it was sort of awkward because clearly only about half the audience even got the reference, which is sad. still, bill hader does an awesome plainview impression.
Wow, Anton taking the milkshake was an omen, I now realize. How very perceptive, draiiinnnaage.
"as usual for snl they mucked it up"
they didn't always muck up skits.
ah, snl, where did the good days go?
A golden opportunity, totally squandered. Mind you, the "I've abandoned my child!" -bit was hilarious.
"Oh, there he is."
