For the record, our shirts do include the "I drink it up!" line.
Also, I apologize for the deleted comments I posted yesterday...was trying to figure out how to add an embedded link to my wife's t-shirts. This forum must use different coding than I've used in the past.
Hey Moniker
I went to the link that you recommended... the cafepress/julielynnmckee link and when I got to cafe press a prompt came up about the product not being available (paraphrase).
In my seach for the perfect TWBB tee, I would like to take a look at your wife's creation.
Can you shed any light on how to view the tees ????
Thanks
Harold
Actually, the shirt I bought was the first one on this site:

Great quality shirt, complete with "I Drink It Up!" And the "Drainage!" on the back was nice too. True, no milkshake icon, but frankly I think that's overkill.
If only there was just a black tee with the original 'There Will Be' logo and than a milkshake or something. Than the quote on the back.
If only Hot Topic had em...
no no we must keep the shirts away from hot topic....i for one am sort of glad that they didnt make any officially licensed merchandise...its just not the right movie for that sort of thing. now, if they did make a t-shirt, i would certainly buy it, but yeah.....anyways, hot topic would kill it. that would create a trend of people buying an i drink your milkshake shirt because they think its a funny saying, even if they havent seen the movie. that sort of bothers me. i guess im kind of a jerk.
No, you're right. It would kill it. Some things can't be killed by HotTopic, South Park stuff for example. It's still funny regardless. However, I find shopping malls kind of horrifying anyway, so I'm not the person to comment. And I'm still in love with the drill bit coffee mug on ebay, which will be mine as soon as I get some money.
i just cant stand the idea of some 14 year old girl wearing an i drink your milkshake shirt thats three sizes too small to accompany her funky wrist bands and converse all stars...it just cheapens it. i try not to be all like "oh hot topic is so LAME" but i refuse to allow my movie equivalent of a lover to be whored out. and plus, one time i tried to buy a beatles shirt from hot topic (i am a lifelong beatles fanatic), and they didnt have any, and when i asked if they had any, the guy working there LAUGHED AT ME. and even if they did have one, once i saw that it was like 30 bucks, i would have ran out anyways.
but, to add on, if a 14 year old girl actually LIKES the movie, then that is awesome!
I saw someone wear a "I drink your milkshake!" shirt at the oscars. I was jealous! =/ I'll definitely grab one someday. =)
There shirt looks pretty good.
Most of the shirts I've seen are incredibly lame. This is really the only design I like. I'm thinking of getting it, but haven't officially decided on it yet.

I'm glad they didn't mass produce any merchandise for this movie. I mean, that would have been cool, but then it would have seriously cheapened the awesomness that is TWBB. The milkshake line turned into a pop culture phenomenon like over night, and I think creating a line of merchandise for people to buy just for that line would have been a huge mistake. Too many people who've never even seen the movie are obsessed with that line and it would be irritating to see those people walking around wearing the shirt. I could see HotTopic selling shirts like that though, and I'm also glad they didn't get in on it.
I would like to see other designs for the movie that have nothing to do with the milkshake line. Then that way you know if someone compliments it they're a true fan of the film :)
EDIT:
Here's a nice shirt I just found. Definately different from all the other idiotic ones out there.
